Josef Seibel Paige Shoes - Mary Janes (For Women)

I needed a flexible ,casual walking shoe and NOT a sneaker/tennis shoe. This shoe fits the bill. great comfort and style. too bad it is a discontinued style. I will keep these in my closet for a long while.

I bought these shoes over a year ago at a local shoe store when I needed something presentable (immediately) for a conference. I ended up walking over a mile every day and luckily they did not need any break in period. In summer I wear them with thick cotton crews socks of various colors and in winter I can wear two pairs of wool socks and they still fit well. The adjustable nature of the velcro strap makes it work. I usually wear US Womens 10 Med. and 41 in Birkenstocks and these 41s fit fine. My feet are more wide than narrow although I've never owned a pair of wide sized shoes. The reason I'm rating this shoe now is because I ordered a different pair of JS shoes (Vanessa) from STP (I wanted something that covered more of my foot for winter and rainy weather)and that 41 is quite a bit too small all over. I like a lot of wiggle room in my shoes. Warning: JS shoes are not all sized the same way, nor do they all have the same comfortable removable insole that this Mary Jane/Paige has. Haven't found a better shoe anywhere.

This shoe was just overall too big. So big that I could not tell that if I had the correct size if it would be a comfortable shoe or not. I have several other Joseph Seibel shoes and they fit like a dream. Not sure what happened on the sizing of this one.

I love Josef Seibel shoes but am concerned about the consistency of their sizing--especially when ordering online. Since I had a pair of size 38 that fit perfectly,I ordered a size 38 in this shoe. When it arrived, I discovered that it is almost a full size larger than my other pair. Otherwise, I find that Seibel shoes are the most comfortable, durable, stylish casual shoes I've ever purchased.

I purchased these shoes in the brown color. I work long days with a lot of walking. I can wear these into the evening and still be really comfortable. I use a Spenco innersole in all of my shoes (these included). I have gotten a lot of compliments when wearing these shoes.

very comfortable except a little high on the back heel and rubbing. Hope it will breakin soon.

These Mary Janes are super comfortable and can be worn with casual and more dressy clothes

38 too small and 39 way too big. Had to return.

I wear a US 6.5 and European 37. I ordered a 37 and they are big unless I wear really thick socks. This is a problem with JS shoes - some run big and others run small. I wish they would straighten out their sizing!
