“Quality not quite the same as before”

“I have an old pair of Seibel Tia shoes and they are great. I wanted to get another pair, this time in black. The quality of this new pair is so much worse than the pair I bought 3 years ago. The leather is much stiffer and the insole is much harder. Also the older pair fit perfectly from the very start, and this pair is somewhat snug. I will, however, keep the new pair since I need such a shoe to wear to work. It is just not nearly as comfortable as the one I bought 3 years ago.”
