I ordered down 1/2 size as recommended. The shoes were at least 1 size too short and also way too narrow-usually this brand has plenty of width for my C width feet. My small toe hung over the edge on these. Disappointing because it is an attractive shoe.

The leather piece between the toes is too stiff and after a short period of time causes quite a bit of pain when walking. I frequently wear this style of sandal so disregarded comments by other purchasers regarding the pain they experienced. I had to return them.

I usually wear a size 9 sandal but these were too small and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the strap between the toes hurt so much that I don't think it's worth ordering a size larger. Darn!

But the thong thing that goes between the toes is set sideways so it's wrong and painful. Will be returning these due to that fact that I can't wear them more than 5 minutes without pain.

I wore them around the house for a little while just to see how they felt and they seemed fine, comfortable even, but when I tried to wear them the next day the straps between my toes hurt so bad I couldn't walk in them. I was so disappointed because they are beautiful sandals.

I have had a bout of sciatica, and a trek through the mall with my granddaughter left me feeling fine.

Length is true to size and velcro lets you adjust the strap for a perfect fit. They have great support and cushioning. They are beautiful and well made. I bought them in anthracite, which is a beautiful pewter color, and the buttons and cut outs add a bit of funkiness. I liked them so much I ordered a second pair in white.

I don't know how to describe the problem, but it goes kind of crossways instead of lengthwise. Also, the antique white is actually a silver, not white at all. I will be returning. I ordered my usual size of 41. For me, that size was wearable, although a tad shorter than most. If between sizes, order up.
