Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by Icenreaker guy from Kitchener, Ontario on Monday, February 17, 2014I'm a 150lb 5'6" with a 40" chest... absolutely a medium but I ordered a large based on reviews and was happy to find the coat fits very well. I'd consider hemming the cuffs a half-inch, but it's perfect accross the chest, and falls over my [...] a little - so lower than their 'just-past-hip length' claim.
It's a very good coat with a nice wool felt - competently made, and nicely styled. It's somewhat heavier than I'd expect, and feels slightly 'stiff' up the spine & neck (not in a bad way) so I'm surprised it'd be called a "car coat". It's plenty warm for walks down to -18C (zero degres F).
All in all, an astonishing deal for a city coat - if you order a size up & that works out for you, too.
Reviewed by bioburger from Pennsylvania on Friday, February 7, 2014Nice materials, classy design. STP price is hard to beat.
Reviewed by Big Guy - Little Coat from Florida on Tuesday, November 12, 2013The coat was very well made and attractive, but cut too small. I had to return
Reviewed by Fly Fisher from Chicago on Thursday, March 7, 2013I've worn Joe Abboud nice the early 90's. Use to be beautifully designed and tailored clothing. Not so much anymore. While this is a nice and very functional coat it lacks the quality touches to make it a top of the line model.
In life you get what you pay for, so its still a good value.
Order a size up you won't be sorry.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by pdratt from Massachusetts on Sunday, February 10, 2013Ordered L size based on sizing guidelines provided. 1st coat received much too tight in chest/shoulders and short on sleeves. Returned for XL - exact same problem. Would highly recommend this coat for people who do not plan on breathing or moving their arms. Coat either defective in design or construction. Bottom line - cost me $25.80 in total shipping charges and I still have no coat.
