    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Coat looks great online and on the hanger, but it's a cheap grade of wool so it doesn't keep you warm. It has two button closures that affix with an elasticized (think pony-tail elastic) loop, which is cute but not durable. The very first time I put the coat on, one of the loops snapped right off the coat, rendering it unwearable. Sleeves are bizarrely long, even when I tried a smaller size. Faux fur is attractive detail and I like that the coat is very long.

    Price was definately a selling point. Bought this coat for occasional travel to the northeast in winter and any really cold days in TX. It is definately long enough, but I feel a bit too tight in the chest for a size 18. I won't be able to layer with a sweater. It is however, very pretty in style and will probably do for colder days in the south and blocking the wind. Goes with everything! Only other drawback is that the wool is very lightweight. I thought it would be a heavier coat.
