    This pin was designed beautifully, but I returned it because the marcasite was not black in color. I expected it to be darker like the other marcasite jewellery I have, but it looks more like hematite instead.

    Perfect for the dress I chose it for. Heavy weight piece unlike most cheap stuff sold nowadays. Beautiful shine to it. Looks more silvery when the light catches it than most marcasite pieces. Wouldn't recommend for lighter or tightly woven fine fabrics because of its weight and heavier pin.

    This broach has so many uses its difficult to name them all. Judith Jack makes the best marcasite anywhere and styles that make you beleive it really is from the 20's....creat craftsmanship, beautiful styles. I have several of thesde broachs and love Sierra for making them available at such great prices!
