Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Angler from D.C. on Monday, June 23, 2014The polarization works quite well and a light weight comfortable glasses. I have seen photochromic lenses that drastically change in the light. Not sure these change much at all but they fit the purpose and offer great sight into the water. I do notice they are easy to use indoors and our unlike most my glasses.
Reviewed by Skateboy from Washington DC on Sunday, May 4, 2014Despite the fact that the description says frame fit is medium to large, I found these eyeglasses uncomfortable enough to where they're going back without ever having left my house. The bottom part of the funky legs of these shades hits my temple rather uncomfortably. Too bad because the lens quality seems very nice.
Reviewed by Nemo from Florida on Thursday, March 6, 2014The frames are awesome, but definitely not large, very snug actually. I don't know what's up with Falcon photochromic lenses though. This is my second pair with them, and both have been seriously deficient in their polarization; it falls off on the edges wherever there is a pressure point on the lens. I expected top notch lenses from Julbo, given their history, but have been very disappointed.
Reviewed by Wild Bill Hiccup from Oregon on Monday, December 30, 2013I bought this pair for my Dad for Christmas because he lost a pair of his sunglasses and had commented he liked my Julbo Pipelines. He is 75 and I think he looks good in them. According to the Julbo website they are designed for mountain biking (mtb). I wear them all the time including for mtb. What do I like about the glasses you ask: These glasses are stylish and very comfortable. They provide a huge amount of eye coverage area and have an extra large hinge that seems impossible to break. The arms are flexible and conform to my head without creating any hot spots, same for the eye pads. These are large glasses but have so much wrap they fit and look good even on small heads. OK now the stuff I don't like: I can only really get these glasses clean by using soap and water, when I use the provided cleaning cloth I just smear around what it on the lens even if I fog them with my breath. This is especially true if I sweat on the lens. My only other snivel is the arm design sometimes makes it difficult to wiggle past the cheek pad on my motorcycle helmet.
Reviewed by Musky Hunter from Wisconsin on Wednesday, June 26, 2013The Pipeline L sunglasses have comfortable, light-weight frames that fit my larger head. These sunglasses feature high-quality optics, and stylish edgy frames. I have owned Oakleys, and I would rate my Julbos (I own two now and am planning to get more) above them in terms of quality and value. I use mine for fishing and sailing and I would'nt use any other sunglasses (even if you paid me.)
