Most Helpful 5-Star Review

5.0 out of 5 stars. the best sunglasses ever!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Laura from Mendocino on Thursday, July 16, 2015
I wore these sunglasses on a hot 30-mile bike ride through constantly changing conditions of sun, shade and dappled shade (the worst). They were lightweight, they never slipped down even as I got thoroughly sweaty, yet they didn't pinch or give me a headache like some glasses do. The visibility was perfect in all conditions- and best of all, I could easily distinguish shadows from potholes in the dappled shady areas.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Clear & antifog
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Always Riding from GA on Friday, July 1, 2016
Worn the Julbo Race Sunglasses 4x. Each time it was June/summer road cycling or running in GA, so humid. Wear Rudy's during day rides. With these Julbo's, I've had no fogging issues even with hard rides/runs & stops. Almost like shooting glasses, seem to work best at dawn/dusk lighting with everything getting visibly clearer (versus other glasses & no glasses). Don't really perceive a significant photochromic response to sunlight. They wrap nicely, but without nose adjustment options, they touch my face at the bottom & the top part of the frame is an obstruction for riders like me in a race position (more aero with head tilt down). At 'the end of day' I do feel safer riding early & late with these, so I'm satisfied & will keep wearing them.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Sunglasses for Running and Biking

The Photochromic and Anti-Fog Lenses were the reason I selected the Julbo Race Sunglasses.

Sunglasses and Case are Large, however are very functional. Would purchase again.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Great all-around glasses

Good all-around glasses for all lighting and weather conditions (including rain) but not as good as regular sunglasses in direct sunlight. Fits my narrower face well.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Great for less sunny days
Reviewed by Ray from Maryland on Saturday, September 12, 2015
Not the best for completely sunny days as the photochromic lens do not seem to darken that much. But it is dark enough to take the edge off the sunlight glare. However, these glasses are great all around for rainy, cloudy or partly cloudy days, or early start riding days when the sun is not fully out yet. Good eye protection and these small sizes fit my narrower face great.

Fits nicely, looks good, and I enjoy the photochromic lenses.
