Most Helpful 5-Star Review

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great all-purpose sunglasses

This is my second pair having lost the first overboard on vacation. I love the Falcon lenses, being polarized, and photochromic, they make everything clearer and better distinguished in bright sunlight, especially on the water.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice Fit for larger head, very good optics

I have a large frame fit and these actually fit fine. The falcon lens tint is a nice cross between rose and copper, leaning more to rose. The lens material is Trivex, or in Julbo's terminology, NXT, not polycarb, and pretty clear and sharp, but not as clear and sharp as polarized glass from the likes of Smith Optics. However, they are more comfortable than glass due to less weight, and at the clearance price of about $40, they are very much worth getting.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Good sunglasses for a variety of conditions.

The lenses are crystal clear, and work well in varying conditions. They let in very little light from the sides, and they block the wind really well. The only drawback is that they are the tiniest bit tight on the temples (I have a large head), but they'll probably relax in time. Other than that, I really like them.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Would purchase another pair

Presently I'm accumulating gear to wear on an expedition to Mt Elbrus in 2016. I've tried these sunnies out on numerous training occasions and have been extremely impressed with the clarity and comfort. I would have no hesitations in purchasing another pair and probably will for general everyday use. STP have fantastic prices and good quality glasses if your looking to save your eyes from glare

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Best sunglasses ever

These sunglasses are the epitome of stylish and practical. My first pair lasted two years and I wore them basically every day until I eventually lost them at a party. They shielded my eyes from the sun and the wrap-around frame protected me from wind and debris on my daily ten-mile bike ride. They also survived being in my pocket during a mosh pit or two. They make me look and feel like a rock star when I walk among my contemporaries. I'm extraordinarily happy to have found another pair at a good price.
