“A disappointment”

“I was very disappointed in this robe. When it arrived, I was thrilled because it truly is beautiful! I bought the cranberry colored one and it is exquisite. However, I like clothes that "wear" well. I can't afford to dry clean a bathrobe, and this bathrobe does not do well in water. I washed it as carefully as possible, following all directions, and when it came out and air dried, it looked 100 years old and the silk part shrunk while the terry part did not. Ugh! Like I say, it is gorgeous. Just beautiful with a large cowled hood. So, if you buy it for a special occasion and don't plan to wear it much (and then have it dry cleaned), it might be a fun garment. I can't afford such luxuries. I need a bathrobe I can wear.”
