    I was surprised to find this color in a Justin. All I have ever seen in recent history is the black. I am a country dancer, and I prefer the lace up ropers for the support. Have not had a chance to wear them, but I know I am going to love them.

    For a number of years friends have told me to try western boots for comfort. This is the first time I took the risk. I have had pain in my forefoot and discomfort with numerous shoes of very high quality. I have only worn these boots three or four times, but the comfort is unbelievable. I want to find out more about care, because I understand that they may scratch, but I am very pleased with the boots.

    So far have ony worn these around the house for half an hour, but there is no doubt about the comfort. They are light weight & nice looking, but probably would not take a lot of abuse compared to cowhide--but I had deerskin years ago and you can't beat it for comfort.

    The deerskin is so soft and supple that they are super comfortable, but they are not work boots to be treated roughly because they will scratch up easily. I had a pair years ago in a women's size that I wore until my pregnancies (my feet got longer). I was so excited to find a pair on Sierra Trading Post. I had almost given up finding anymore Justin deerskin!
