“I have skiied these for two seasons and love them. They are soft, and the rocker lets you stay centered in powder. You won't need to try to keep your tips up like you do with other skis. They are excellent for plowing through crud. You have to stay out of the moguls or they might break because they are so soft (which is a good trade if it is a powder day). If it is ice or hardpacked conditions, leave these skis at home. I feel these are perfect for anyone looking for a lightweight super-fatty for backcountry. Once, I did a six-hour skin/hike and still had enough strength to make delicious tele turns all the way down. My reccomendation is to use the lightweight cable style bindings to keep the weight down. One downfall is that the skins you can buy for these skis are heavy, because of the width.”
