Verified Buyer Reviewed by njohnso6 from Msp, MN on Tuesday, January 12, 2010I was real excited to get these skis for such a good price, only to find out that they need special bindings. I called K2 to ask about the bindings and they said that you cannot buy the bindings separate from the ski; but I did the correct bindings online. I returned these skis and got the exact same pair with the bindings at a different site - much better deal. That way you know the binding will work!

I see no reason why you couldn't
“Could you address the previous customer review that stated these K2 skis require "special binding" which cannot be purcased separately from the ski?”
These skis do not require a special binding as they are flat. If they had a plate attached to them, then they may only be compatible with specific bindings.
This model of K2 is the 2008 model.
