“I have been interested in waxed cotton clothing for years but was deterred by availability and cost. I was delighted to find this jacket at STP prices. I've worn it through a cold wet Southern fall and kept warm and dry. I use the hood and the snaps are weak, so I sewed on a bit of velcro and no problem. There is something about the cut of the jacket and/or the unique fabric that makes it very flexible and comfortable to wear. It is heavy as other reviewers have noted but this is not a problem when worn. The sizing seemed to run a bit small for me. But I expect years of good service from this durable garment.”
