“I was very excited to get this jacket, even after reading all the reviews about the poor hood design. Those reviews are true, the hood just will not stay on no-matter-what. After wearing the jacket five or six times, the zipper started to separate. [...] I decided to keep the jacket and use the buttons (rather than the zipper) because I just couldn't find a waxed cotton jacket for this price. The jacket is heavy-duty and looks like it will hold up, but the zipper and hood issues are a major disappointment. Other issues include a lack of pockets on the breast of the jacket.”
