Purchased as a gift for my brother who is living in Mexico on a boat. Might be too hot for summer but ok for fall/winter. Doubt it will last more than one season.

This hat fits the bill and is light enough for the heat but is wide brimmed and offers needed UPF protection. It is a solid buy for the dollar and will serve me well in the hot Alabama sun.
