I have my cat's litter box in the laundry room and this rug catches those little fragments of kitty litter that inevitable escape the litter box when the cat jumps out. Those little rubber mats you get from the pet store are a waste of money. Great product, quality and price.

The strips of fabric are not sewn together so they come loose and pull out from under the strip going the other direction. You end up with a bunch of loose ends sticking up and out of the weave and the rug looks like it's coming apart. A very cheaply made rug that is so poorly made I recommend you quickly move past it online and find one that's made right.

If you like the look of a hooked rug, this is it. It does not have a rubber backing but that has not been a problem at all. Seems to stay in place just fine.
