    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    Thicker than I expected and very tightly woven. So far, the pile doesn't even show shoe prints when walked on (though I'm sure it will after awhile). The striping pattern is very subtle and the taupe color is perfect on my old house's wood floor.

    Ordered two, one came with a slight dirt smudge and careful spot cleaning left some fibers deformed. Very attractive and plush, but time will tell about the durability. Recommended with some reservation.
