Verified Buyer Reviewed by Tamara the Walker/traveler from Scotts Valley, California on Wednesday, April 29, 2015These boots are super cute - I wear them with skirts over leggings as well as pants. They fit me true to size. They are a little stiff to get into, but since they're leather, they will loosen up with wear. Once on they were immediately comfortable. I read some reviews where people had issues with the laces, but for me this is not an issue at all.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by MM in the Little House on the Hill from NH on Friday, January 30, 2015This is the first pair of Earth footwear I've owned and I found them surprising comfortable. The style of the toe box provides extra room without looking klunky. The lace-up styling is a mixed blessing. It definitely makes getting into and out of the boots easier and does give them a unique look. However in spite of my wide fat feet, I'm small boned. So unless I wear really heavy wood socks and tuck something bulky like heavy polar fleece pants into the boots, the laces are too long. You might that's that's easily remedied by tying knots in the laces in some out of the way place to shorten them, or replacing them with shorter laces. But that would involve removing the laces which isn't that simple. Each lace has a piece of leather (which is a nice design feature) stitched into each end of it. This makes for a very snug to impossibly tight fit in some of multiple loops the laces past through singularly and sometimes together. So it seems the only way to free enough lace to tie knots in it or replace the laces completely would mean cutting the end of the laces off. That elicits images of being stuck with a lace with ends that weren't rigid enough to rethread through the holders and, worse, that might even fray. Aside from this, the same lacing pattern that makes the boots look stylish has convinced me that if I ever have to replace the laces for any reason I need to photograph the boots from all sides so I get it right. That this might not be as easy as it seems could explain the little leather doogies on the ends of the laces: better not to go there unless absolutely necessary.
But even so, I like the boots, they're fun to wear and make me feel like I should be driving a Prius. But I'm also not hard on shoes or boots. If you're one of those who likes to yank on your boots and bolt out the door, these may not be the boots for you.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Animas girl from Texas on Thursday, January 22, 2015I've not owned a pair of Earth boots or shoes that didn't have a great fit! They are comfy, warm, and have great support! I highly recommend this product! I bought the black but I'm thinking of buying the brown ones ;-)
Reviewed by Aknight from Adirondack Mts on Friday, January 16, 2015I love the looks, the feel and the comfort of these boots. I haven't worn them in the cold yet, but they feel like they will keep my feet warm enough in moderate weather.
