Pretty in a different way

I've had my eye on these for a while and have been dying to try them. Ordered them in my regular size 9 and the fit is perfect on my narrow-ish foot. The straps are just right on me, keeping the sandal securely on my foot without rubbing. I must say, with all due respect to the company, they do have that "earth" clunky look; they are a bit clunkier in person than they appear online. (When you wear a size 9-9.5 you don't need any help to make your feet look clunky!) However, as I was hoping, the design of this sandal, with the more delicate straps, is a bit of genious to make the look prettier. These look GREAT with skinny jeans. I haven't had a chance to wear them out of the house, I'm curious to see if the thick sole makes me feel like I'm going to trip over my big feet!
