    I normally take size 8, I ordered 8.5 for heavy socks but had to send back for a 9.5 which feels right for heavy or layered socks. My evaluation applies to the larger size. I will try winter hiking with these but haven't experienced the weather yet.

    Very good quality boot as well as being very lightweight and comfortable. Have not had a chance to test the cold rating as of yet but all in all am very pleased with the boots.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    My husband ordered these to keep his feet warm at work during the winter when he is outside. One of these boots fit great. The other boot was sized completely different and did not fit at all. I'm sure if they were the same size they would have been really nice. We ordered some Kamiks for the kids as well as they've worn them in the past and been really warm, but we had some some trouble with sizing on theirs as well (from another vendor even).
