    I got this boot because I wanted a comfortable boot for winter hiking and snow shoeing. It seems like a great boot, but I could not get the drawstring style laces tight enough to keep my foot from slipping and snow from sneaking down the top. If this was a lace up boot it would be fantastic! I returned them and am trying a different style that has laces.

    I got these boots late in the Arkansas hunting season. The long cold sits were over by then. Although I did get to wear them on a coulple short cold hunts. Given I have not had a lot of "warm" boots these are probably the warmest I have owned. I was also surprized at how comfortable they were, other than them being a little undersized. The cordura uppers can be a little noisy when they rub together. All in all a good boot for the money.
