Kamik Brute Camo Hunting Boots - Thinsulate® (For Men)

This was a gift for my son so he will be prepared to the late autum/winterhunt for blackgrouse and capercaillie.

Nice comfortable boots. Wear it casually all day.

Great boots, except for one thing: they are narrow, thin. The only reason I could fit into my size 8 is because I have small feet. If you have normal sized feet, you will need a wider version than the regular width. That said, once on these boots kept my feet plenty dry and warm while hiking/playing in snow recently. They provided excellent support, and broke in after a couple of wears. I'm not a hunter, but I do live in a cold climate in mountains and forests, and like to hike all year around.

I walk my dog 3-5 miles per day through northern New England woods, which are often waterlogged. Boots would keep my feet perfectly dry, except that they are so well insulated that sox emerge damp with sweat, even with temperatures around 40F. Initially, boots are stiff and feel a bit tight, but these problems diminish with use.

I use the boots for woods hikes, and bird/deer hunting. They are comfortable boot for "average endeavors", but a little slippery on rock or ice conditions.

I have worn these boots indoors and outdoors in the short time that I have had them. The boots eem to be breaking in fast and are comfortable. I would buy them again!

great deal, so I really couldnt go wrong if they fit. I have not had a chance to wear them out in the weather yet and thats why I didnt give them a fifth star. Wished they sold them in widths

Only buy these boot if it is cold! I wore them outside when it was around 25. Perfect! But, as soon as I went inside and continued wearing them, my feet sweat. Duh. Take them off when you're inside!
