Kamik Conquest Winter Pac Boots - Waterproof (For Women)

I bought these boots a week before a 4 day snow camping/igloo trip, so I didn't have time to break them in at all. Despite that, I didn't have any problems with blisters or sore spots on my feet through out the weekend of hiking, snow-shoeing, and working to "build" camp. I didn't waterproof the upper boot before the trip, but probably will before using them again. I wore gators the entire time, but my socks still got a bit damp a few of the days. My feet were also cold anytime I sat still for more than a few minutes - I had to do a lot of marching and toe wiggling during down times even though I wore 2 pair of thick wool socks. I bought these boots a size up as others recommended, and it worked great for wearing 2 pair of thick socks. So far, I'm satisfied with these boots and would recommend them for others to purchase.

I bought these boots to replace my Kamik Patroits, which I absolutely loved but are now splitting at the seams. The new Kamik pac boots seemed like a good replacement option, but they are very hard and uncomfortable around the seams. Sadly, I knew right away that I would not be able to wear them.

I will be putting these boots to the test next week when I go skiing in Canada, but so far, they are very cute (for a winter boot) and are very comfortable.

I work in the mountains as a physician. If I need to walk because the car can't make it, I need good boots. These have worked out great.

Haven't worn them yet, but they should fit well with an extra pair of socks (no half sizes), and are comfy so far!
