“I walk about a mile from the train to the university two days a week in Chicago, and in the winter the walks have often not been plowed--or too much salt has been used and there are huge puddles of slop. I need warm, waterproof boots suitable for walking a distance, and these are great for that purpose. Only drawback is that they are hard to get on and off (and that they are substantially smaller than the sizing, but I knew this when I ordered them, ordered a size larger, and they fir fine).”
