Can't wait for the first big snowfall so I can keep my feet toasty and yet stylish! Looks great with jeans. True to size and comfortable.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by mijanou from Connecticut on Wednesday, January 28, 2015A few years ago I bought a pair of Kamik sheepskin boots and they have served me so well! They are warm and so comfortable. I decided that a pair of higher winter boots would be useful - this style caught my eye. Well, they are everything I was hoping for! They are delightfully warm and incredibly comfortable! (My fussy feet really appreciate this!) And they are waterproof - a detail that I really appreciate!
Reviewed by Happy Feet from New York City on Tuesday, February 11, 2014Great boots! Warm in -20 degree weather, waterproof in slush, comfortable & soft inside & out. Fits to size. Worn in snowy backcountry & also NYC. Best purchase of the extra-snowy season!
Would have rated 5 stars except the right boot fits a little odd, like a factory 2nd, with shape of toe skewed in comparison to left, a little uncomfortable to break in (right boot only).
Reviewed by Mycroft3 from Chicago on Monday, February 10, 2014This was my first purchase from STP and a very important one, for Chicago has gotten more than 60 inches of snow this year. I was hoping a Canadian boot named "Moscow" would be the answer for constant subzero temps and pretty righteous snow depths. Happily, I was right. An excellent boot which has been truly waterproof and warm for me. I like being able to adjust the tightness with the laces. I normally wear a 7.5 but ordered an 8, and it works well for me. I'm also using these for snowshoeing and xcountry skiing, and so far, so good. The toe box construction is pretty rugged and fits well in bindings.
Reviewed by Patti in the Mountains from New Mexico mountains on Monday, December 9, 2013I love these boots! I got them in between two snowstorms, and the difference they made in my life was like night and day. First snowstorm, with previous old boots: my feet were wet and cold. Second snowstorm, with the Kamiks: my feet are toasty warm and dry. I bought a half size bigger, which might not have been necessary because now the boots are pretty roomy, but I wear very thick socks with them, so it's workable. Because the upper part is suede, they stretch a bit, unlike some boots that have rubberized toes. So I probably could have ordered a half size smaller, but it wasn't available. I got the black ones, and they look good with jeans.

Question & Answer
“Can you tell me how much support this boot offers (i.e. arch support, also torsional stability i.e. how easily can the foot part be twisted side-to-side along its length)? I wish the descriptions included info on the degree of arch support/ foot support, as many people need this support, while others want a cushy soft shoe that offers no support. It's difficult to find shoes, esp. boots, that have good support.”
The boots are not very stiff and have average arch support.
