I bought them after living through one blizzard that dropped over 2 feet of snow. I have a pair of boots that are ankle length. One step in the snow and my shoes filled with snow. These boots are tall enough to stand in deep snow while shoveling - yet still comfortable enough to take my dog for a mile and a half walk through 3 inch slush and ice. Kept me warm, dry, and comfortable for hours outside.

I had to return the boots even though I ordered a size larger. I was extremely disheartened as they would be perfect for my needs. Sorry you didn't have other sizes available or I would have exchanged them.

I was really nervous about ordering these boots since so many people commented about how the Kamik's run too small. But I wear a 6 boot and the 6 boot fit perfectly. My toes didn't bash into the end (perfect length really), and even though I have a fairly wide forefoot, there were no constricting spots or spots that rubbed. That said, this is a snug boot, as it should be. It hugs your foot like a ski or snowboarding boot would, and that is exactly what I need for walking around my town in the winter when it is snowy and icy. My only complaint is that the heel cup is a bit large (I have a narrow heel), so even when tied up, my heel slips a little. Since the boot keeps my foot in there overall, it is not a major problem, but for snowshoeing, it would be nice to have a good heel fit.

These ran small so I had to give them to my daughter and she loves them.

I live in the mountains and i needed some really great boots. These are the best i have ever put on my feet! Never want to take them off they are so very comfortable, warm and cozy!! I would recomment them to everyone!!
