“Quite simply, these boots are not very well made - it was easy to see why they were so highly discounted, as the thermal layer was poking through the exterior seams, basically rendering them not waterproof. Plus, they're very uncomfortable/too roomy through the top of the foot that could not be further tightened by the laces - the inner ankle material just does not support, and that's a necessary feature for big snow boots. I took the risk in hopes they'd cover me for one snow adventure. They're going back to STP, hopefully to someone who has nice thick ankles and doesn't mind the lack of durability.”
