This Boot meets the requirements for Superbly built Cold WX footwear. From Design of the lacing eye system instead of punched eyelet rings to overall comfort re-enforced ankle support hooks, superior heel and toe scuff construction. Smooth leather instead of a suede finish. It Needs a Higher tongue gusset to keep out debris. Overall an excellent boot!

They were delivered within two weeks and for UK users, it cost £31.13 for TAX and import duty. Still cheaper than anything you can get with this quality in the UK. I went for a US size 9 (UK size 8.5). I'm a UK size 8 but going by the reviews, I went for a half size bigger but wish I had stuck with the smaller size. They fit fine with a thicker sock but with the insulation on the boot, this might be too much with a moderate winter. Saying that, the construction and materials are spot on even through they are made in China. On the first outing,I tried them for a full day hike with the dog and they were very comfortable and think they will be even better once the leather gets a bit softer. The laces are looking a bit ragged already but they will get replace with some good quality hiking boot laces. All in all, I'm really happy and would go through Sierra again. They were also very responsive to my queries prior to purchase.
