A little to warm for this time of year

Here in the midsouth of Tennessee the weather changes constantly where temps swing 30 or more degrees quite often; ( and with rain which can turn to ice and snow ). ( In the last two weeks we went from the 50's to 9 and back to the 50's again; ( along with some snow ). Although we are not really considered a winter climate; occasionally we get down to single digits and I wanted something really warm I could depend on that would last. It is not a hiking boot and I only wear it when needed. This is a work boot and is heavy but solid and well built. It will be more than enough to take care of anything that I may need when the weather gets really cold for many years to come. More would be overkill. I am so tired of fashion footwear passed off as winter protection to keep you warm and dry. I can not speak for Arctic conditions but if a good winter boot for simple outdoor demands is what you seek then this is an excellent choice. ( You may want a good footbed insert for added warmth and comfort. )

My son has never been happier with a pair of winter boots. We don't get much snow, but he spends a lot of time outside when we do, and these boots keep him dry and warm.

I use these boots for keeping my feet warm and dry while shoveling snow, and playing in the cold/snowy weather. They are very warm, and have great traction on snow and ice. They are a little bulky for running, or snowshoeing, but perfect for working outside and even snowmobiling.

Bought for cold weather work boots. Weight/bulk takes some getting use to. Could use more sole padding/insulation. Good for the price.

seems warm , I am waiting for some wet snow to verify their are waterproof.

So far very warm, easy on/off, just wish it had more of a lip for traction chains. Otherwise very nice

It was well under zero without a wind chill and I was out before dawn. These boots kept me going. When I needed to stay still for a number of hours, I did add a boot warmer for which there was enough room above the toes to keep me comfortable.

My husband keeps saying how great these boots are. He works outside and these have kept his feet warm, dry, and comfortable for more than 15 hours a day in below 0 degree weather. I was thrilled with the price and am considering buying another pair for next season. They are bulky, but we don't think that is a con because they are winter work boots so this is expected.
