Comfortable and well designed from what I can tell. These boots are very tall. The toe box seems a little smaller than I expected, but I suspect the padding will compress a bit with use. Otherwise good quality and functional enough to work in.

Bottom line: These boots are for those who need safety toe protection outside during cold-weather work.
The uppers fit snug under insulated duck overalls as the boots are very tall and bulky in the calf area. The uppers do give enough to allow you to comfortably squat to the ground without restricting ankle movement. There are D-ring laces to tighten the boots around the ankle area, but it'd be nice to have a set of D-ring laces to the top.
Out of the box, for me a size 9, there was not enough toe room for thick winter socks. However, my toes still stay warm when wearing thin socks. I added more toe-room by thinning the toe portion of each "footbed" insert by removing them and using a razor blade to carefully remove half the layer of the toe. The increase in toe room was dramatic.
A great deal of moisture builds up inside the boots after a full day of use. I recommend removing both inserts of each boot every night to allow them to dry.
At first glance at the immense uppers, they seemed overkill, but these boots grow on you after wearing them for a while. The safety toe serves a purpose for my work, the fit is comfortable, the sole pattern gives good traction in snow and muck, and the boots keep my feet warm on the coldest and wettest days.
