“NYC. Late December had a blizzard with 20" snow. These boots were ready to go. Warm!! Waterproof! Didn't fall. Boots gripped the road. Secure. Prior to blizzard, took several long 2 mile hikes to break them in. Thinsulate on right inner boot bunched causing a ridge that rubbed the right ankle raw. Soln: carefully pinch up the thinsulate to let it evenly cover the inside of the boot from top to sole. Took advice here: got boots 1/2 size larger. Just enough room for extra socks. Perfect for high instep as well. Excellent boots!!”
