Nice warm boots, but I can feel everything through the sole if the surface is frozen (ice, rocks). Gives me a feeling like barefoot. Even an additional sole didn't help. I had Columbia Sports boots before and they were way better.

Liner is the key - extreme cold weather protection for cold feet! Warms ankles and feet and keeps out the cold. Well made. Product note said "runs large, order 1/2 size down." I found I needed the opposite true, and ordered half size up instead.

These boots do the trick. I spent 8 hours snowmobiling and my feet stayed warm and dry. They aren't the most stylish boots. They puff up between the rubber and laces on top of the foot. Somewhat awkward looking. But it wasn't a fashion show. My only complaint is weight. They are a little heavy. I wouldn't want to do extensive walking in these.

I wanted a boot that I could wear all year; If I take the liner out, I can put insoles in, socks on, and these pretty much get me through the year. I know a lot of complaints have centered around them feeling bulky, if you try the insoles, that should help. The only thing I don't like is that Kamik doesn't have half sizes. This is my 2nd pair of Kamik's, and I usually wear a size 9, and my 1st pair were 9, but they were a little snug. With this pair, I ordered a 10, and the fit is better. You might want to consider going up one size if you order these. Like I said, they really need to start making half sizes.
