Kamik Sutton Winter Pac Boots - Waterproof, Insulated (For Women)

bought these for my wife. hasn't used the boots yet, but they look very nice. really good for the price!!

I wear them in the snow and they keep my feet very warm and dry. They also have great traction.

Nice boots but 1 size too small, which doesn't help if you are a 1/2 size. Also, the stiff ankle pushes the foot even further forward in the boot. It's a weird fit, and I have an older pair of Kamiks that are great. Too bad.

Nice boot. I like the look. I had to send back the first pair because they fit too small, even though I ordered the size I would normally wear. So ended up having to go up a whole size bigger. Kamik does not do half sizes. They seem pretty stiff around the ankle, but I'm hoping with wear they will break in some.

I only just received these boots so this is a bit early to review. However, I am so far impressed with the overall comfort, warmth and traction. I usually wear between a 6 1/2 and 7. My last pair of snow boots, a size 7 were too snug, so with that, and based on other reviews of these boots running small, I went with a size 8. I wanted to have plenty of room for thick socks. I think I am happy with my choice, although I haven't done extensive walking in them yet. I will say, after a long day of skiing and walking in ski boots, my tired and swollen feet were happy to have a little extra room to slip into in these boots. I'm a little concerned they will be too big for hiking or long walks as my feet do slip around in them a bit. I think a size 7 1/2 would have been perfect which is why I am giving them 4 instead of 5 stars. Why not offer half sizes? I don't get it.
