Super impressed with this jacket - very good quality. Nice tailored femine fit. I ordered the brown in an 8 - fit perfect. The brown does not have the platinum piping like the picture shows but I like it just the same. I think some may have had comments about the sleeves because there is an internal, stretchy cuff that hits above the wrist, almost like a snow gaitor, but the sleeve itself extends all the way down. I actually think this is a great feature of the jacket. Tons of pockets, in all the right places. Used the pit zips spring skiing this month too. This is a really attractive and funtional ski jacket - even the husband was like "nice jacket"!! And he doesn't notice much :-)

I read the reviews so I ordered a size up. Normally I am a 6, but ordered an 8 which fits perfectly.

This jacket definitely has all the bells and whistles of a ski jacket!!! However, I think the bottle opener in the inside pocket is overkill - no need for a bottle opener. The only thing the jacket is really missing is a double zipper - where it opens from the bottom & also from the top. A double zipper is nice on longer ski jackets.

The faux fur on the hood looks completely FAKE so that has to go. (Easy to zip off and toss in the trash.)

Watch out for bad stitching. There were hanging threads everywhere. But at least they are easy to cut off. However, there was quite a few stitching mistakes were they double stitched to make-up for the mistake. Also, they completely stitched over the inside drop down pass holder. That was easy to fix by cutting the thread. However, what I could not fix is the holes in the plastic. They stitched over the clear plastic pass holder, realized their mistake and restitched it correctly. Unfortunately, the clear plastic pass holder has permanent holes in it - can't fix that.

On the sizing, I'm usually a XS or X, and clothing size 2 or 4. I ordered the 6 and the 8. The 8 was definitely too big so back it goes. I was hoping for something sleek and styling and this is it. I love the color too! I was a little concerned about the sleeve length at first, but once I got out on the slopes it was not a problem. This coat does everything it promised to in terms of keeping warm and dry (worked great in snow, rain, and sleet), and I did not need to layer a whole lot.

I love this coat. I purchased it primarily for skiing, but I went out on a snowshoe hike last week, and could not have been more comfortable and warm. It was a very windy day in the Rockies, and the coat really stood up to the elements. The fur trim is adorable, and totally removable if you desire as well. The length is a good length for skiing. All of the pocket and storage features are great, and once I showed the bottle opener to my husband he was sold on it, too.
