I always wear a size 10 in running shoes but needed a 10.5 in these. I pulled them out of the box and ran 6 miles in them. They are very much a cushioned running shoe. They initially felt a bit shallow in the heel; like my foot might slip, but my feet stayed put. They look and feel great! I am a mid foot runner and I could feel the fulcrum in this shoe. I am very happy with this purchase!

Well, I'm no longer a 10 in running shoes. Reality check- in KARHU the 10.5 was even too small, but STP facilitated the most expedient and magnificent exchange ever. I ended up with another KARHU, yes that's a little bear squiggle on the shoe. Karhu means bear in Finnish incidentally. The 11 is quite nice but the royal blue was more cushiony so if you're after that walking on air feeling go for this royal blue one. Feeling smitten by both STP and Karhu! [...]3. There isn't a better online exchange process on the planet btw

I had a lot of discomfort with lost toenails until I discovered the Fast Fulcrum. They are light and firm, not overly cushiony. My only beef, and the reason I give them 4 instead of 5 stars, is they keep redesigning them to the point where I'm not sure I'm getting the same internal build anymore. But so far, I've been through 3 designs, and they all feel great. The other Karhu running shoes don't work for me at all, by the way.
