I have a pretty average foot, so was interested in how these shoes would feel, but I really like them! Great cushioning for running!

The Karhu Forward Fulcrum Ride is described as a good shoe for neutral runners. I found the Fulcrum technology to actually work as advertised. The Fulcrum encourages the runner to move quickly to the ball of the foot from the heel strike and this is definitely happening, making for what seems to be a more efficient stride and running style. This is my first pair of Karhus and I see myself getting another version. I use orthotics and I was able to get them into the Forward Fulcrum Ride, although it's a little tight and requires thinner socks. The STP pricing is as always just about unbeatable. This shoe was well worth the price and so far a solid trainer.

I wear these shoes and run 15-30 miles per week. I love them! They are comfortable and I ran faster when I started wearing them. Definitely a great running shoe. I bought two more pairs right away and the price is absolutely amazing!

I have a couple of shoes from Karhu. It is a good company. The "steady ride" shoes are for stability. They end up giving up a little cushioning to provide more stability. I prefer the "fluid ride" shoes better. But these are definitely not bad shoes.

Have had many running shoes. These are light and have good support

Overall I liked the feel of these shoes, very comforatable, good cushioning, but I ordered 1/2 size larger according to recommendation and I found them to be too large and a bit wide. I have to reorder....then I'll see.

I use these shoes for running on artificial grass surfaces (field hockey), for my own training as well as umpiring matches.

Just started running again and bought these to replace some old Aasics Gel Kayanos that I loved. Bought them one size bigger and the shoe fits perfectly from heal to toe. However, I feel my heel lift as I walk in them. Took them for a run and did not have the same experience; no annoying lift noticed. However, I can't say I love them due to my walking experience. Good cushion; comfortable out of the box. Think the problem may be b/c they tie too low in the foot?

I found this shoe at Fleet Feet and tried it because it fit so well. I loved the shoes and now I buy them where ever I can find them!
