    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    I work with rescues that have way too much pent up energy. This is a tough 'toy' that can withstand the rigors of fetching/dragging etc. by multiple dogs. I haven't tried washing it yet, so I have no opinion on that aspect. So far, I see no downside to it other than not all dogs are interested in this type of toy/game. It would be more appropriate for larger dogs.
