5.0 out of 5 stars. So far so good......Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Washington on Thursday, August 25, 2016Got a size 8 1/2 pair for my 12 year-old son on Sierra for about 70% off. Without breaking them in, he did a 10 mile round trip hike - 3,500 foot elevation gain with the last 900 being a class 2 to 3 scramble without complaint. No mole foam used and no blisters. Two days later did an overnight backpacking trip, so he used the boots with a full pack and had no problems. Did some boulder hopping and a climb up Aasgard Pass in Washington - 2,000 vertical feet in 3/4s of a mile over boulders and scree and a lot of miles. His feet hurt at the end after about 18 miles worth of hiking and climbing in 2 days, but whose wouldn't :-). He commented a few times about how good the boots were doing for him. Bottom line, seem like good quality boots after 2 very rugged uses with no breaking in.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Karyland Fast Hiking BootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from California on Tuesday, August 9, 2016These Karyland Fast Hiking boots are a very well put together boot. A little stiff at first, but after a few days of breaking in, they become very comfortable. Going to buy another pair for work. I give these.boots 2 thumbs up. Thanks Sierra Trading Post.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent quality, true to sizeReviewed by NordWoman from Michigan on Thursday, July 14, 2016Ordered two pairs, and the ones that fit were the ones in my true US (women's and men's) and EU sizes. Wore them with Bridgedale light hiker socks. The sizes can be found online, but were also right on the inside of the tongue of the boot. Very impressed with the quality, and the clearance price is outstanding. Looking forward to years of hiking. Also, liked the color very much; true gray (not beige) and black with orange red touches

4.0 out of 5 stars. Seemed nice half size smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Riverplayer from Wisconsin on Saturday, July 9, 2016I would have liked to have kept these but they were small. Ordered my normal size 11 but needed a 11.5 which was out of stock. I exchanged them for the kayland plume which first impression is super light very supportive but nice flex. Time will tell.

Have only worn them a coupl days and have not taken them on a backpack trip yet but I am impressed with how they fit.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great hiking boots...Verified Buyer Reviewed by Andy the Mountaineer... from Duvall, WA. on Monday, September 28, 2015I have had several name brand boots and the Kayland are buy far the best fitting well built boots I have owned. These ones stick to the rocks like glue, and have a great breaking tread... They are 3/4 top boot witch I like for hicking because I have a better rotation of the foot... I personally have the Kayland mountaineering 200gram insulation boots and the Kayland trail running shoe for me it is just like there mod do said "a step ahead of the rest".
