These are extremely nice boots, the rubber rand and the vibmerm sole are great! They fit well and are tuff. I have only put about 5 miles on them, so take this review for what it is.

I bought these for my husband. They are very well made and the footbed is very comfortable. The pinch came in the way the ankles of the boot rubbed against his ankles. He made the mistake of not breaking them in before we took a long hike and he paid for it. The footbed stayed comfortable the entire time. We hiked through some very wet and slippery conditions and his feet stayed dry and he had good traction. Make sure you break the boots in before undertaking a long hike!

I have always been a huge fan of Asolo boots, but my last couple of pairs seemed to wear out very quickly - within 6 months and they were dead. I was looking for some boots that might go the distance (longer than 6 months anyways) and I believe these are the ones. I wear my boots every day for my job and recreation. These boots are AWSOME!!! Very durable and, once broken in, very comfortable. The way they are performing so far, I give them a perfect score across the board. The decomposing granite where I live and work is very hard on boots, but these Kaylands are holding up to the challange exceptionally well. Sorry Asolo, but I think your boots have been out done - I can't believe I'm saying that but fact is fact. These boots seem to be way more sturdy and durable. They are slightly heavier than my previous Asolo boots, but I bet they won't be dead in less than 6 months. Great Job Kayland.
