    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I bought these for my 5 year old daughter for school yard and style purposes and was shocked at how wide these are and how poor quality the strap was (very flimsy. My daughter wears Keen all the time and these have been a real disappointment - they would be great for those kids with a wider foot but I can see the strap being an issue - very flimsy.
