Keen Amsterdam Shoes - Mary Janes (For Women)

I own 3 pairs.

These are great shoes, I have typically found keens to be roomy in the width, but these are a little snugger than my 3 other pairs of Keen's.

The straps were a little tight at first and took some time getting used to. Other than that it is a comfortable casual shoe. They are perfect for people who have narrow feet. Great arch support.

I read a previous review by a gal that said "remove the elastic band". I would've never been brave enough to do that. But I DID and that resulted in the PERFECT SHOE. So, ladies, wear the shoe for a while until you feel the dig of the elastic band on the top of your foot then go find your scissors and cut that sucker out! You'll be so glad.

I have worn these shoes almost every day since I bought them. I bought them half a size larger as I had read reviews about Keen shoes and smaller sizing seemed to come up a lot. They also had an elastic strap under the velcro one which was way too tight and pointless, so I cut it off! I would defintely recommend these shoes. Too soon to say how well they wear and whether or not they are stain resistant, but I am certain that they will be just fine!

I recently had a knee replaced and Keen shoes were recommended by a physical therapist. She was right. I can walk forever with these shoes.

- If you are street hiking or going to the mall - these Mary Janes are the right shoes. They are casual, but don't look un-feminine. - Easy in and out with velcro strap. - You might want to use some anti-sweat spray if you use them in warm weather without socks.

I already owned a pair of Venice H2O Keen sandals and they were slightly too small (when worn with socks) in my regular size, so based on this and after reading some of the reviews that they were too small I bought them half a size bigger. However, I had to return them because they were way too big. I re-ordered them in my regular size and now they are ok but still slightly too big. Clearly, what I'd recommend is to try them on in a store that carries Keens and go back home and order online.

Have multiple purposes

These are great shoes. Yes, Keens run on the small side, so I ordered the 9's (instead of the 8.5s). They were perfect. Love the color (olive) and the footbead. My only complaint is they ran out of the orange, or I'd have 2 pairs.
