I wore these straight out of the box for a 6.5 mile run. No problems at all and BY FAR the driest socks I've worn for running. My feet sweat quite a bit even when I wear proper "wicking" socks with two layers. [For the record, my feet sweat a lot more than the next person's--not to gross anyone out, but rather to paint a picture of how absolutely amazing these socks are.] They also absorb no odor; again, this is unlike my other running socks (double-layered and designed to wick). AMAZING--I bought two pairs at the outset and will order 3 more now. Phenomenal socks for the price!

Light-weight wool sock, definitely below the ankle, just right to wear with sneakers or, dare I say, sandals! Size is accurate as described. My old Keen socks from several years ago still look like new and I expect these will be the same. By the way, I NEVER put these in the dryer.

I only wear wool for hiking - all year round. This sock is a good weight, comfortable and highly breathable. I find the rim at top a bit loosely elasticized, but does not seem to affect wearability.

The socks are lightweight and warm....a perfect combination...and at a great price!

Great if you don't have much room in your shoes--these are thin, thinner than my equivalent SmartWool below-ankle wool socks. Not quite as soft as my current socks though.

About Keen

Keen shoes have been helping feet find adventure since 2003, and it all began with the signature KEEN.PROTECT toe bumper. It might seem strange to build a footwear company around a feature, but that iconic toe bumper is more than just a style add-on. It’s what allows Keen sandals to hit the trails and provide the best toe protection possible. In fact, Keen was one of the first footwear companies to make closed-toed hiking sandals. Over the years, the product selection has continued to grow and now includes Keen hiking boots, trail shoes, cycling shoes, socks, clothing and bags. The brand is also actively involved in land and water conservation projects in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan.
