Nice looking boot with nice stitching, I've owned keens before and was excited to get this, it is a stylish boot. However, I was surprised that the support wasn't as good as it should be, I walked in these and wind up getting pain in the ankle areas, in addition, the calve area when closed is pretty snug, to the point of compression. I measure 15" in the calve area, if you are bigger than that, it would be really, really super tight for you as it is already choking for me. In all, I love the boots, but found it difficult to walk around in without the proper support in them. will now have to look for some kind of support insert so i can use this boot.

I absolutely love the Keen brand. Their footwear is well-made and the most comfortable brand I have ever found. I am extremely picky when it comes to shoes because I am constantly on my feet. These boots lasted me for 2 years of constant wear from about October until April, and my feet never started to hurt while wearing them and they are very warm without being stuffy. I used them for walking around on campus and town in the snow, ice, rain, whatever. Didn't even have to take them off when I went indoors because they didn't make my feet overheat, but my feet are always cold, so I may be alone in that. My biggest complaint is the zipper. It is not very strong and I started having problems with it splitting after I had zipped it up about 1 year after I got the boots. Given, it never stopped being easy to zip up, but it definitely isn't quality. The stitching is also coming apart pretty significantly, holes have been rubbed in the heels and backs of ankles, and the sole is coming away from the toe. The leather is nice and soft, but scratches easily and does not buff out well. My boots look pretty beaten up. I would say that they are worth buying, but don't expect as much use out of them as you may get from a pair of Merrells. I love Keen for the comfort and style and Merrell for their longevity. My Keen shoes also got rubs in the heel and back of ankle sooner than I think they should have, and I just bought a pair of Clara high boots (just wanted to try a different style) and was disappointed to find that Keen has still not fixed their zipper problem.

I was looking for rain boots that would keep my feet warm and dry while biking in Portland, OR. I decided to go with these rather than the traditional rubber boot because of their versatility. I can wear these with skinny jeans under rain pants if I'm going out, and just take off the rain pants when I arrive without looking like a doof in rubber boots. They keep my feet dry and warm, and are cute to boot (haha)! Well worth it. I would recommend ordering a half size larger though, especially if you plan on wearing thick winter socks.

Good boots for wearing into work. Not for extended outdoor use. Looks professional. Shearling is NOT on the foot bed. Not a lot of arch support, but not uncomfortable.

The boots fit true to size - I normally wear a 7.5 and that is what I ordered and they fit great.
