    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I thought these were going to be perfect for my son. However, we pushed, pulled and tugged to get them on his feet of which we weren't able. The opening just wasn't big enough and would not stretch.

    Our whole family wears Keen shoes...the wide toe, great support and ruggedness makes us all fans. This one, though does not work for my son with sensory sensitivities: the leather is quite stiff, and where the tongue is stitched to the upper, the seam presses against the top of his foot. He couldn't stand having them on , as much as he wanted a new pair of Keens. We returned them.
