They come up a little higher on the instep, so they don't flop much when walking even though they are open-backed. The microfleece lining kept my feet cozy in cold weather, but not so much that they sweat. All in all, great shoes!

Keens are one of my favorite brand of shoes and I ordered my normal size, however, maybe due to the clog style of these, they were a half size too big and I couldn't keep them on my foot - had to return. Wish they would've had the right size, I would have exchanged them. Very cute and comfy shoe!
