Keen Chamonix Boots (For Women)

These are great! I just got a second pair [...]. I wore these all throughout Italy & Paris and in D.C. in January when there was lots of rain and lots of snow. My feet never got wet and they were comfy from the get go - no break-in period! I liked them so much I got a pair for my mom in law for a trip we're taking to Seattle this upcoming winter. She loved them, too! While I've never had a hard time getting them on - open the velcro section all the way!! - my mom in law did initially. What she found was that it is harder to get on with thin socks and when she put on thicker socks (athletic, tube socks) they slipped on without a hitch. Hope this might help others! We both purchased our usual sizes.

Price perfect for frugal me. They look great with either skirts or slacks. They will keep my feet dry when I walk my big dogs into the snow/slush at the side of the road. They are soft--feel more like moccasins on top. Arch support is crucial. Love the wide toe box.

I was looking for a mid-calf boot to wear with skirts or pants. Really like the simple style of this boot.

I'd seen these boots elsewhere, and had wanted to get a pair, so when I saw the great price at Sierra Trading Post I ordered them. The foot area is comfortable. The leg opening could have been a tad wider. I don't like the velcro, and have to adjust it to such a degree that a good part of the velcro shows - tacky.

These boots are great for walking in the snow or for wet weather.

Nice warm winter boots that you can wear with skirts as well as pants. I haven't had any problem with the velcro.

I agree about the killer velcro that doesn't really show in the picture. These boots were also flat and didn't provide enough support for me.

I own more than one keen and it really a great shoes specially I live in the Bay Area. I use it everyday. It my work shoes. Its great in rainy day its waterproof.

I love all my other Keen shoes and liked the look of these. From the picture, I thought they would be easy to slip on and off, but there are large velcro patches on the inside seams which I don't want to deal with and also they don't close all the way to hide the velcro even though my calves are average size.
