I wear a size 6 and purchased a 6, shoes fit pretty well. Couldn't wear a thick sock with this shoe. Looks good. A little hard to get on but once on the foot stays on the foot.

I wore these shoes to the lake and on a hike, and I was worried I'd get blisters, but they were great. They were comfortable and lightweight, but I wouldn't use them regularly on hikes.

Fine shoe for casual hiking in dry/wet/dry conditions, but dries too slowly to be a good kayaking shoe for extended trips. They don't drain well, so water sits in heel cup soaking my feet as I paddle. Its devilishly tough to getthe puddles out without taking the shoes off. If you expect you'll be wet frequently, and especially if your not hiking, I'd look for a better water shoe/sandal.
