    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I love Keens and have owned many over the years. I thougth I would give these a try and overall, I am satisfied however, the fit is still rather stiff in heel. NO way could I wear these sans socks. I am glad I did not pay full retail price for them; if I had, I would have returned them due to the stiffness factor. However, at the price I did get them for, I can live with the trouble, because they are cute, and an awesome shade of blue. I do not know if I would recommend these shoes - it depends upon how you like your shoe to fit and feel. They are not athletic shoes by any means but look great for daily casual wear and can take some abuse too.
