Keen Dakota Boots - Insulated (For Women)

I have a med-wide foot and did not need to order a 1/2 size up, but I don't need all the width that normal Keens provide (although I appreciate it). They are narrower than traditional keens, but do not think they are at all 'narrow'. If you do need all the width of a normal Keen, order a 1/2 size up, otherwise, these fit like a typical non-keen boot. These are very comfortable and warm... and at such a great price!! I normally wear a 7, these fit well in a 7.5 as do most of the Keen's I have. This boot is perfect for what I was looking for - waterproof, light, good traction, very warm, and like all Keen's, supremely comfy, I only wish they were higher. An added bonus for me is that they correct the tendency my feet have to fall inward at the arch and balance my weight equally on the outside/inside of my foot. I like the leather upper with not too many seams, it makes it more durable than some Keens that are a patchwork of pieces.
